Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

    When Willy Wonka decides to let five children into his chocolate factory, he decides to release five golden tickets in five separate chocolate bars, causing complete mayhem. The tickets start to be found, with the fifth going to a very special boy, called Charlie Bucket.

Jean Craighead George

The late author Jean Craighead George loved the outdoors and having outdoor adventures.  Her book, Julie of the Wolves won the Newbery Medal in 1973. Her novel My Side of the Mountain, the story of a boy and a falcon surviving on a mountain together, was a 1960 Newbery Honor Book. She started writing in 3rd grade and over her lifetime she wrote over 100 books.
